Fire Statements for Planning Gateway One
A written fire statement your planning submission can include, prepared from your current design information.
Planning Gateway One applies to relevant applications for buildings in scope under the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 as amended, which requires a fire statement with the planning application. The service covers preparation of that statement for in-scope high-rise residential developments and developments containing education accommodation. Scope in each case is confirmed in writing before work starts.

Which guidance is used?
The design is considered against the relevant Building Regulations guidance and the British Standards that apply to the building type. The documents used are named in each statement.
How long does it take?
Timescales depend on the size of the development and the completeness of the drawings supplied. A date is agreed in writing with the fee before work starts.
